At Smile CDR, our goal is #BetterGlobalHealth. We are currently expanding our team to support the growing demand for Smile CDR interoperable solutions for the Healthcare industry. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Strategic Account Manager to manage and increase revenue from existing as well as new target client accounts. Part farmer, part hunter, SAMs will use their well-honed account management and business development skills to connect the dots between opportunities, open new doors, and grow revenues in a sustainable way

What you’ll do

Manage assigned accounts portfolio to grow recurring revenues in excess of 30% year on year

Become the trusted point of contact for assigned customers, consistently communicating with different client account stakeholders to establish strong and long-term client relationships

Proactively liaise between assigned accounts and internal teams to discover new opportunities within accounts and their affiliates, respond to specific queries and thoroughly understand the client’s challenges and goals.

Identify and initiate contact with new potential strategic accounts

Meet or exceed assigned strategic account objectives as well as sales performance quotas

Work collaboratively with marketing, sales, customer success, customer service, and software development team members to identify new opportunities, provide exceptional customer service, and tailor solutions for new and existing accounts.

Develop a working understanding of Smile CDRs value-proposition, target industries, target personas, technology platform, solutions, and pricing structure

Use HubSpot CRM and other sales tools to import, add, format, update, create lists, and maintain inbound lead data, as well as log activity, discussion details, and prepare notes for AEs

Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts. Performance and reports as required

What we are looking for

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, selling over the phone/internet to senior and executive management in the healthcare industry

Post-Secondary diploma or degree, preferably in business, management, information systems, marketing, communications, or a related field of study

Working knowledge of the healthcare industry ecosystem including providers, payers, health tech IT vendors, research organizations, medical devices and government agencies.

A history of exceeding sales targets and performance metrics

Proven creative problem-solving approach with strong analytical skills

Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to effectively and efficiently use software including Windows/Mac, Google Suite, HubSpot and more.

Ability to work in and interact efficiently with remote teams, stakeholders and clients.

Ability to discuss key industry issues at multiple levels within an organization

Self-starter able to work independently in a remote/work from home environment

This position is 100% remote and requires high-speed internet access (non-reimbursable)

Bonus points

Familiarity with healthcare and/or IT

Familiarity with HL7 v2 and FHIR formats

Experience serving the healthcare industry within North America
