Michael Kors is looking for a dynamic Specialist, Learning & Development to join our team! This strategic partner individual will be joining the HR team to support the North America Distribution Centers and will play an active role in preparing, delivering, and maintaining training content. They will act as liaisons between the different cross-functional partners such as L&D, Internal Communications, Talent Acquisition, and Operations to support and promote different local, regional, and/or global initiatives and ensure a smooth rollout of various initiatives throughout the DCs. In addition to their primary focus on learning and development, the ideal candidate will also be working closely with the HR team on communications and procedure/process reviews to ensure documentation is updated regularly. What You’ll Do:

Responsible to develop, facilitate and maintain various pieces of training, refresher courses, information sessions, workshops/off-cycle sessions, lunch & learns, etc. for NA DCs

Responsible to facilitate seasonal training, as well as Performance & Pay Review Process training sessions

Responsible for scheduling, tracking, and collecting all material pertaining to training and the progression of participants

Responsible to revamp, organizing, and maintaining quarterly townhall material for NA DCs and playing an active role in presenting content, in partnership with the HR team

Assist with preparing different communications and creating a centralized space for NA DC-related internal comms.

Assist with creating, updating, and maintaining various policies, procedures, guides, tools, and documentation

Partner with L&D global team to launch global initiatives for the DC population

Partner with Internal Comms to support promoting organizational internal communications such as newsletters in a way that is adapted to the NA DCs population

Partner with the HR team to drive D&I initiatives adapted to NA DCs populations

Partner with HR and the DC leadership teams during the Performance Review Process, by providing recommendations on learning and development opportunities that are in line with employee’s performance and support their growth

Prepare and update employee lists through the L&D platform and enroll employees in their respective training to ensure compliance with training and safety regulations

Support the HR teams with conducting orientation

Actively participate and support the HR team with various tasks and any special projects throughout the year

You’ll Need to Have:

Bachelor’s Degree in L&D or business-related field

5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role

Bilingual English/Spanish, verbal and written required

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

High sense of urgency

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)

Knowledge of the L&D discipline
