About the team
Our Public Relations and Social Media team is excited to let the world know about FIS and the innovations we are bringing to financial institutions around the world. You will be part of a dynamic global team that is using leading-edge communications tools and channels to promote FIS, our people and solutions.
- The social media team works closely with all marketing functions (digital, content, events, paid advertising, etc.) to bring full integrated campaigns to market.
- Key areas of focus for the social media team include employee social advocacy, influencer marketing, social listening, and the creation of strategic plans to support marketing stakeholders.
What you will be doing
Build and execute social media strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
Implement platform-specific social marketing strategies that align with overall business goals (e.g., conversions, lead generation, awareness, etc.), bringing in fresh and creative ideas, best practices, etc.
Design and implement campaigns of varying scope on social channels (e.g., product launches, brand identity, contests, etc.) and coordinate with PR, digital marketing, and content teams to ensure campaigns are fully integrated
Create and/or curate all social content, including text, image, and video
Support executive visibility programs and reputation management
Assist in planning and execution of influencer programs – develop plans, coordinate with agencies, work across multiple teams to deliver virtual events and custom content
Contribute to the FIS Employee social advocacy program through internal trainings, content creation, development of new ideas to expand the program, etc.
Own and build out social media content publishing calendar including editing and scheduling of posts in our social media management tool, Sprinklr
Engage with brand followers and fans on social channels
Support campaign reporting to derive insights for optimizations
Conduct social media listening and social media monitoring using appropriate tools
Stay informed about trends and tools in social media, marketing, technology and advertising
Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices.
What you bring:
5+ years in a social media, digital marketing, digital design, writing or PR role, preferably for a B2B or technology company
Strong understanding of the social media landscape including new channels, trends, features and opportunities for brands
Excellent writing and communications skills
Proficient with a variety of social technology tools for publishing, listening, reporting and can extract meaningful information from the data
Ability to build comprehensive reports and translate data into actionable insights
Experience managing and engaging with social media communities
Knowledge of where social media fits in the wider digital space and how different channels can be leveraged to drive more impact
Added bonus if you have:
Experience with influencer and/or advocacy programs
Design skills/experience with Adobe Creative Suite
