Job DescriptionCommonwealth Heritage Group desires to fill the position of Administrative Assistant in our Dexter, Michigan office. This is a salaried position (30+ hours per week) with benefits. Social media requirements include developing content for Twitter/LinkedIn/Facebook and website posts, scheduling and managing content through HootSuite, and assisting with strategic marketing endeavors involving Commonwealth’s web presence. This is anticipated to be less than 25% of weekly workload. The successful applicant will also complete a wide range of administrative duties for the Executive team, including assisting with job/proposal tracking, client contact data entry/management, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable; performing accounting reconciliation including bank and credit card statements; reviewing general ledger accounts; maintaining filing systems; and performing overall office support assistance to the Commonwealth corporate staff. The successful candidate will possess good computer skills, including competence working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. In addition, the candidate must be organized and detail oriented and can multi-task. Finally, the candidate must minimally possess an associate’s degree (or equivalent) and have some administrative and social media experience/background.

Pay rate for this position is competitive and dependent on experience (minimum of $21/hr) with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates should possess, at minimum, an associate’s degree. Candidates must be familiar with standard current software (Microsoft/Adobe, including Word, Excel, Acrobat, InDesign, etc.) and must have excellent organizational skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to learn and execute new tasks, and enjoy working with a dynamic team.
