Your role in our mission
Develop your career as you support Gainwell’s focus on creating innovative, purpose-built technologies and solutions to deliver better health and human services outcomes.
Collaborate with technically advanced subject matter experts to create, refine and ensure accuracy of content
Maintain content for Medicaid Management Solutions product documentation
Perform all phases of technical publication content development, including planning and research, design, writing, editing, and publishing
Manage content through revision control and file management
Work with the entire team to continually improve documentation processes, quality and usability
Assists in establishing style guidelines and standards to meet business needs.
Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience in communications, journalism, technical writing or related field preferred
Detail oriented, systematic, and investigative writing process that creates documentation that is accurate, concise, and follows a logical flow
Demonstrated ability to learn complex technical products quickly from subject; and able to translate information into documentation relevant to the target audience
Experience working with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat DC, MadCap Flare/Central or other CCMS tools, GitHub, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, screen capture and graphic editing tools
Understanding of Content Management concepts and Content Reuse, ability to read and maintain XML/XHTML, ability to develop and maintain CSS Stylesheet
Knowledge of Medicaid and CMS Regulations and Guidance is a plus

The pay range for this position is $66,200.00 – $94,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
