Job Description

The nation’s multifamily owners and operators are facing an unprecedented decade of challenges from aging and defective piping in their buildings. Many are unaware and most are unfamiliar with the solutions available to them. SageWater, North America’s pipe restoration and replacement expert, is seeking a versatile senior B2B copywriter experienced in the construction/renovation or multifamily real estate industries to increase the content we provide to serve the market.

The SageWater Senior Copywriter will help develop and execute a program that creates demand and engages target audiences at all stages of the marketing funnel. This position will report directly to the company’s VP of Marketing and will work collaboratively with the rest of the marketing team, subject matter experts, and creative contractors to conceive, write, edit, and proof a range of storytelling materials that bring our brand positioning to life with consistent tone and quality. The senior copywriter must be able to interact professionally with all levels of management and with clients, business partners, and vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help define and execute a content marketing program that fulfills strategic commitments to reach our target audiences.

  • Partner with marketing and subject matter experts to develop the editorial calendar by identifying semi-annual and annual topics/themes, and introducing effective formats
  • Plan and manage resources to produce and deliver content on time and within budget
  • Write, edit, and proof material that is compelling for SageWater target audiences and needs, and appropriate for various platforms and channels. This can include writing content for the following: advertising; corporate website and blog; direct mail and email; Social media;; Webinars and live education sessions.
  • Support marketing leaders in testing copy, channels, and creative to improve engagement, SEO, campaign performance, and conversion
  • Help evaluate and report on content marketing effectiveness
  • Support marketing leaders in developing various presentations (e.g., PowerPoint), created hand in hand with the operations and sales teams for new product launches, and standardized sales/bid activities
  • Aid market research, which can include analyzing industry content and interviewing market influencers, prospects, and customers to inform content strategies, define buyer personas, and shape messaging
  • Support corporate strategic projects as assigned

REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of BS or BA with a degree in marketing, business, or journalism preferred
  • 7+ years editorial experience with at least 3 years proven performance as a B2B content marketer; copywriting experience is a plus
  • Background writing for the construction/renovation or multifamily real estate industries required, experience in the professional services industry is a plus
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Experience independently managing multiple content activities from inception to completion with changing priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • A self-motivated, strategic thinker and problem-solver who brings a “no job is too big or too small” attitude

Pay: $95,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
