About The Position

CallHarbor is seeking a candidate to fill our Sales & Marketing Assistant position. This is a full time position in Dearborn, Michigan. The position will be hybrid (mostly remote with some in-person meetings and events). We are looking for an organized, creative, and hard working candidate that has strong in-person and written communication skills. The candidate must be good with deadlines and multi-tasking. As the Sales & Marketing Assistant, you will assist our Channel Sales & Marketing Director to help with partner outreach and complete various projects and daily items. This position will have the opportunity to attend events in the Metro Detroit area, as well as some out of state events. This includes conferences and expos, as well as entertaining partners and attending social gatherings.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Reaching out and qualifying potential partners
  • Interact and engage with partners to maintain relationships
  • Assist with giving full demos of the CallHarbor platform to partners & customers
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events (trade shows, industry specific events, company events, partnership events)
  • Identify new sales opportunities, techniques, and avenues, and present recommendations to Channel Sales Manager, Operations Manager, and Owner
  • Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

Required Experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to aid in building relationships with partners
  • Must be able to educate partners & customers on the value of doing business with CallHarbor
  • A strong work ethic and the self-motivation to work remotely and not be micromanaged
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong awareness of deadlines and prioritization skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Ability to do direct marketing & establish a new market base
  • Strong understanding of GSuite applications (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
