In order to support our Site Engineering Team , we are looking for a

Mechanical System Installation Designer (d/m/w)

Our Site Engineering IDENTITY:
We are a reliable and competent engineering partner for production.

We have a dedicated interface to the other Site Engineering communities in Augsburg, Nordenham and Stade. Dedicated and diverse multi-skilled teams in different aircraft programs, different components and different engineering functions.

The Site Engineering team is the point of contact for Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering for any design issues that cause disruptions to manufacturing. Supporting manufacturing and assessing defects directly on the component in the hangar. Currently we are preparing for the rate ramp-up in A350 & A330. In addition, we expect the first A350 Freighter in 2023, as well as additional Head of Versions in both programs.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Required skills and qualifications

Responding to Non Conformities (NCs), Design Query Notes (DQNs), construction deviations within specified time, cost and quality constraints.

Approval of NCs, DQNs and construction deviations with Technical Approver Delegation in place.

Participate in First Implementation Check and Zone Safety Analysis site visits to the construction site.

Development of improvements to increase efficiency.

Extensive knowledge of Mechanical Systems Installation is required.

Proficiency with common 3D development tools such as CATIA, VPM, TREND, PASS V2 is desired.
