Role and Responsibilities
Position Description: This position will be responsible for community outreach, business development and operation leadership for Optimum Personal Care, Missouri City and Sugar Land communities. This position will seek to foster and develop strong community relations that positively reflects the mission of the community. This position will be responsible for promoting the community through on-site meetings, tours and events, telephone follow-up, community outreach to referral groups and influencers. This position will be responsible for all related sales functions with the primary goal of generating qualified move-ins that meet or exceed census goals. This position will provide overall operational guidance for daily operations and staff management.
Personnel must possess strong relationship-building skills. Personnel will be a resource to all current and/or prospective families and/or residents dealing with age-related and/or memory centered concerns.
Personnel will possess excellent telephone skills, lead management, and selling/closing techniques tailored to meet the needs of the community. This position requires team management and leadership skills with a problem-solving attitude to contributing to the daily operations of multiple communities. Personnel will help to create an atmosphere in the community that fosters great team morale, passion for quality, and respect for others. This position will serve as a role model for others by displaying a responsible, cooperative, and positive attitude with a willingness to help.
Responsibilities: include but are not limited to:

Maintains the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents in the delivery of services. Interacts with residents in a manner that displays warmth and promotes a caring environment.
Demonstrates a positive, cheerful attitude and treats all residents, families, supervisors, and co-workers with dignity and respect. Communication and interactions are effective and tactful.
Demonstrate and facilitate company philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
Must demonstrate empathy and compassion to connect with all customers.
Must be able to ask the right probe questions to identify the individualized need(s) of each customer and develop a strategic plan to meet those needs.
Execute marketing and sales processes:
Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding occupancy and revenue rates through professional relationships, ongoing education, and community outreach.
Create and maintain community networking efforts and relationships as indicated by marketing and sales goals and/or portfolio.
Give a positive and informative first impression to all prospective residents and families.
Conduct community tours as needed or expressed.
Ensures follow up with potential residents, families, and/or referral sources.
Organizes and facilitates all move-in procedures
Assist with admission and/or move-in processes as needed.
Collaborate with clinical and dietary personnel to coordinate smooth and timely transition of admission.
Responsible for development and implementation of innovating sales/marketing plans for the community.
Ability to work diplomatically with families, residents, physicians, nursing staff, social workers, clinical resources managers and affiliate administrators.
Generate new inquiries that achieve lead generation goals through referral development activities with professionals, residents, prospects, families, and team members.
Develop solid professional relationships with key referral partners to understand their needs as they change over time.
Understand and provide information about current services and present information to referral sources to meet their needs.
Meet established expectations in number of schedule presentations and unscheduled visits to area professionals, including social workers, doctors, case managers, attorneys, senior centers, rehab centers, nursing homes etc.
Attend, exhibit and present at appropriate, pre-approved senior fairs, trade shows, and other opportunities in accordance with assigned communities’ marketing plan and budget.
Promote positive public awareness by developing relationships with local businesses within territory.
Demonstrate strong verbal presentation skills required, including the ability to present information one-on-one or to groups of potential referral partners.
Complete accurate and timely reports on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis as directed.
Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, work safety and other emergency procedures.
Ensures compliance with all rules and regulations related to resident care (i.e. confidentiality, HIPAA, state regulations, local health department requirements, OSHA, and etc.).

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Three to five years in senior living experience preferred (Assisted Living specifically)
Knowledge of clinical theory and standards of practice
Experience managing staff
High assessment skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Supplemental Pay:

Bonus pay: TBD

10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability
