Job Description

Our client is a market-leading electronics manufacturer working with customers in a wide variety of sectors from Mobile Phone Manufacturers, Telecoms Vendors and Operators, Scientific Research Institutions, to Aerospace and Defence. Our client is focused on developing cutting-edge products always at the forefront of every market segment they compete in.

Due to the expansion of their product portfolio and continued growth due to success in established and new markets, they require additional marketing expertise.

As part of the Northern European Marketing team, the role requires you to act as an interface between the local UK sales/product management teams, centralised marketing functions and the European operational marketing team. The position requires you to implement the European marketing strategy and deliver customer facing marketing activities within the UK.

The Role:

  • Work flexibly to deliver the full range of operational marketing, communications and nurture activities, across a diverse business with multiple market segments and product ranges
  • Work as part of an international team, collaborating across boundaries with a wide range of product / application experts and marketing specialists
  • Ability to understand technical concepts, product information and strategic marketing objectives, to deliver effective marketing activities and to offer proactive input and ideas
  • Execute event and campaign planning and delivery, collaborating with colleagues, customers, industry partners, institutions, trade press and marketing agencies
  • Identify suitable exhibition and deliver exhibition stands working with external partners. Support in the delivery of international exhibition which take place within the UK
  • Experience of creating email newsletter campaigns using marketing automation software (SAP)
  • Maximise the value generated from social platforms and tools
  • UK PR management, including case study creation
  • Account Based Marketing campaign development and implementation
  • Ensure that our CRM (SAP), website content management, marketing planning and digital prospecting tools are fully maintained and utilised
  • UK Planning and budget management
  • Market research activities and report creation
  • Analytics and reporting

  • Be an effective communicator, with the ability to build strong relationships both within the UK, and with colleagues and partners in Europe
  • Use your own initiative, as well as working as part of a team, to see projects through to conclusion within tight deadlines
  • Willingness to travel
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing responsibilities and tasks both within the UK and into Europe
  • Experience of design software packages

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,000.00-£36,147.00 per year
