KSL Podcast Producer (FT)

We’re proud of our history, and we want talented people to join us as we continue to grow!POSITION OBJECTIVE: We’re looking for an organized, energetic podcast producer to assist in the production of news and documentary podcasts like COLD. You’ll have the chance to contribute to the continuation of existing products and work on the launch of COLD Season 2 and other KSL Podcasts.

We need a passionate, focused and driven storyteller with excellent technical skills to support the fulfillment of one-of-a-kind podcasts.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Research, write, record and edit podcast episodesPost and provide analytics for podcast episodesProvide support on social mediaWork in accordance with reporting best practices and journalistic standardsWork effectively in a team, deadline-driven environmentWork in compliance with Company policies and proceduresMaintain a positive and cooperative rapport with staff, management, and clientsConsistently work hours required. Work more when required to meet deadlines including weekends, holidays, evenings, etc.Other duties as assignedPOSITION REQUIREMENTS: College degree in journalism or related fieldTwo (2) years’ journalism experience or equivalent preferredExcellent research skills; ability to identify, validate and compile information from various sourcesAbility to generate highly creative, compelling content for multi-platform distributionPossess recording expertise in both studio and field environmentsStrong understanding of the current digital and social media landscape, including creating content for Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and other platforms, best practices, success metrics and emerging platformsAbility to write clear, concise, conversational and accurate copyAudio recording and editing experienceExpertise using social media platforms to curate and promote contentExperience with Adobe Creative / Microsoft OfficePrior experience operating and maintaining professional digital video and audio equipmentAbility to produce content efficiently and concisely under deadline pressure and to manage stress effectivelyPHYSICAL DEMANDS: Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.Bonneville is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by law.
