Hobby Life Africa is an Established distributor supplying imported general merchandise starting from plastic-ware, brush-ware, toys, pots for plants, decor and kitchen accessories and have been servicing the retail, wholesale and cash/carry markets.

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic designer with up-to-date knowledge, that can interpret our needs and design solutions with high visual impact and manage all our Social Media accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate a solid body of work
• Take the design “brief” to record requirements and clients needs
• Schedule project implementation and define budget constraints
• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
• Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas
• Administer and update social media platforms
• Design posters and promos for social media platforms
• Update our website with any change new products, change in product ranges
• Administer website trafficking
• Keep pricing spreadsheets update on excel
• Update CRM with sales and marketing files
• Weekly planning of all social media content
• Daily social media posting
• Creating all Social media content

Minimum Requirements

• Proven graphic designing experience and certificate/diploma qualification
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
• Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Corel Draw, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc)
• Proficient in all design aspects
• Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
