The Interior Design Manager will get down and dirty in FF&E design, interior design, design standards and project management, juggling projects in different phases of design, purchasing, roll-out and implementation. Projects will range from extra-large, to extra-small; this role will help bring all sizes of the brand vision to life.

The in-house City Club Apartment Design group is looking to add a highly organized high performing interior designer to the team, to help with interior design brand standards, FF&E design & procurement for our new development apartment hotels, as well as supporting the maintenance and brand standards of our operating communities.

The role will be equal parts design and design management, as well as design administration. It is an opportunity to learn about interior design and branding, not only as a career, but as a business. This is an exciting time to get involved to work in and be part of shaping a company.


Works with Chief of Design & Brand to develop project & brand visioning, as well as FF&E for the new development projects.

FF&E Design, Drawings, Specification, and Implementation for New Developments and assist with Operating Asset Projects

Creates layouts, specifications, and supporting documents for both custom and running line FF&E.

Quantifies design specifications to build the budget

Dreams up the overall vision for the project that interconnects with the brand narrative, design standards & budget.

Builds and maintains relationships with vendor networks to help deliver commercial quality products

Brings the vision to reality by planning and overseeing larger scale deliveries, and installations

Visually assesses the opportunities of existing spaces and documents for future projects

Supports new development apartment hotel – architectural design and specification by assisting with design reviews/mark-ups on Interior Design, Architectural, MEP, and Lighting presentations and drawings for new construction projects. Works in conjunction with City Club consultants to ensure brand standards are maintained.

Owns new development brand standards for unit finishes.

Develops relationships with supplier and vendor networks for specialty and branded materials. Negotiates program pricing for new development standards.

Works hand in hand with procurement manager to ensure all new development FF&E is designed and installed on time and on budget.
