Freelance Photo Retoucher – 4/28 – 5/16

RUN Studios is looking for contract/freelance Photo Retoucher for a project with one of our client partners, an online retailer in downtown Seattle.

The project is slated to kick off on April 28th and will run through May 16th for up to 40 hours each week. While the position is remote, candidates must be based in the United States for consideration.

Retouchers will be responsible for image processing, including retouching, page makeup, file formatting, silhouettes, trapping, air brushing, color corrections and related operations. Create image proofs and make file revisions as needed. May create impositions to process jobs for press.

As a Photo Retoucher, You Will

• Skillfully provide retouching/clean up
• Adjust lighting and shadow applying the same filter across all RAW and existing JPG assets
• Provide color correction
• Adjust background/surface extensions to meet crop
• Outline and create unified shadows
• Add transparency or composite groups when applicable

As an Applicant, You Bring

• Knowledge of digital photography and post production processes preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to problem solve independently, as well as advise team members
• Able to quickly prioritize, own tasks, and meet deadlines
• Archiving processes as well as a strong knowledge of current retouching techniques
• MAC OSX
• MS Office(Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Acrobat, Bridge, Illustrator)
• Phase One Capture One

Compensation

Pay Range: $50.00 – $100.00 (Hourly)

The successful candidate’s starting pay within this range will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
