We are actively seeking to hire a Director of HR Analytics for our client, a well-known and established financial service firm in Beverly Hills, CA. This position will be a direct report of the Global Head of Human Resources. The individual in this role will play a critical function in developing standardized reporting, metrics, dashboards for each business group and rolled up for a firm perspective.The ideal candidate for this role will be an analytical individual, with a demonstrated track record working with HR data, systems, and BI tools.
This role will have targeted ownership of reporting, metric insights, and data integrity. This will require involvement in extracting, formatting, executing, and delivering data to stakeholders. You will be responsible for executing all regularly scheduled reports, modifying reports as required, and constructing ad hoc reports and insights. Enhanced compensation analysis and reporting will be required.
Create and deliver reports in a timely fashion across several HR data areas, including, D&, headcount, turnover, hiring, KPIs, etc.
Work with HR to understand the business issue and develop target reports as needed.
Build and maintain the Reporting Calendar and disseminate as required.
Build and analyze audit reports to assure HR data is accurate and up to date.
Continuously research, analyze and improve the existing reports to build process efficiency.
Provide consolidated management summaries to promote data-based decisions.
Design dashboards and/or presentations for maximum impact by incorporating graphic elements of HR data.
Provide timely reports for audit requests as a priority.
Maintain a catalogue of all ad hoc requests, periodically reviewing requests, analyzing if any requests should be developed as a scheduled report.
Recommend and convert ad hoc reports to scheduled reports based on frequency of requests.
Insights and Analysis
Provide written commentary and insights to stakeholders from an HR data and reporting standpoint.
Develop and maintain strong, collaborative, results-oriented working relationships with internal partners
Build and Produce HR Scorecards and dashboards across a variety of HR fields (e.g.,terminations/turnover, hiring plans, headcount, overtime, compensation, etc.)
Review metrics to identify trends, anomalies, and points of interest.
5+ years of applicable analysis and/or reporting experience specifically for Human Resources.
Strong proficiency in Excel and PPT required; PowerBI, and Access preferred.
Organization skills with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Absolute discretion and good decision making required as data is highly confidential.
