Description:
The Content Copywriter position requires various writing tasks, including creating content and copy for event presentations, editing event programs and other forms of mass communications, and drafting positioning statements for new products. The candidate must have excellent writing and editorial skills and a strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, style, and copyediting rules.

Responsibilities:
Be able to articulate ideas and craft copy to meet creative needs across different mediums, including print, web, social media, video, and event advertisements

Attend briefing sessions and discuss Brand, Selling Strategy, and the purpose of the brief(s) with the appropriate brand/project management team members

Review incoming new projects. The content writer will work with strategy briefs and other forms of project initiation to make sure that the creative team has all of the right information to deliver the best solution possible for each assignment

Work with the Art Directors and Creative Director (or alone, if necessary) to create appropriate copy concepts

Take responsibility for the initial spell checking and further copy amendments made to all projects

Provide writing support and expertise for a wide variety of media

Maintain consistency in Unicity’s formatting, style, and voice

Education and Experience:
1-2 years previous experience

Bachelor’s degree in related area
