The Global Data Department leads the way of Digital Transformation within the Red Bull organization combining fields like, Project Management, Knowledge Management, and Internal Communications. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Communications & Community Manager.
In this role you’ll be working in the Communications & Knowledge Management team and evaluate organizational communication and knowledge needs while also planning and developing initiatives and platforms for Global Finance & Operations at Red Bull.
You’ll act as cross-functional liaison and expert on effective communication methods to the business functions and support the organizational transformation especially through an active and content-based community management.
Job Description
COMMUNICATION
As the new Communications & Community Manager you’ll evaluate the communication and information sharing needs by using analytical concepts, usage data, user journeys and personas from the functions. You’ll identify relevant audiences and tailor the messaging through the right channels (Intranet, Digital Poster Network, Newsletters etc.). You’ll plan, edit and create verbal and visual content for a variety of internal communication mediums, for different internal target groups, on a range of topics from business general to function specific for the Global Data, Finance and Operation departments. In your role, you are a publisher, not a platform manager, you need to get your audiences hooked.
COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT
As a vital part of the internal communications and knowledge management setup you’ll engage in active community management as per our Communities of Practice Playbook. In your role, you will identify community needs around relevant content and topics, setup the communities and connect audiences to the right groups and platforms, using our internal communications network. After setup you’ll moderate the communities with a clear, but flexible content plan to stimulate the exchange of knowledge. You’ll continuously assess the engagement level and adjust content plans and group compositions accordingly. As you build the communities, you’ll also identify and build a strong relationship with community champions that will eventually take over the CoP lead.
KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
You’ll get the chance to further roll-out our holistic knowledge management strategy into both key country organizations and other Headquarter departments. In the process you’ll not only support the teams in setting up the knowledge creation and distribution process, but also gather intel on any additional knowledge management needs to enrich our KM Taxonomy, Governance and UI/UX. You’ll become the ambassador for the idea and principles of our knowledge management approach and seed both into the organization through active communication and training facilitation. You’ll be able to liaise and advise with relevant stakeholders such as the IT etc. for technical developments of our intranet solution.
INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS GOVERNANCE
You’ll also develop awareness for information transparency & communication and introduce relevant guidelines and frameworks to the different departments. You’ll be responsible for the promotion and implementation of our organizational communication standards and guidelines top-down and bottom-up. It will be crucial that all internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments. Furthermore, you’ll develop change management communication plans & methods for projects and/or change initiatives. To ensure long-term success of the initiatives you’ll evaluate the impact of planned organizational change communication, identify improvement potentials and support in their execution.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Media, Marketing & Advertising or Communications, preferably with a focus in Marketing & Sales, Finance, Supply Chain Management, etc. but not a must.
Experience in a communications team, especially internal or corporate communications, is most sought after. Experience in content creation for a variety of different audiences is also desired. General media or marketing experience is beneficial.
Able to understand complex business projects, identify the relevant key points and boil them down into succinct and tangible messaging.
Superior verbal & writing skills in both English (and ideally German) and an analytical mindset.
Adept with a variety of multimedia platforms and communication methods; advanced digital literacy. Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) is of high value.
Highly organized and exceptional communicator
Creative, target-group focused and pragmatic thinking.
Ability to build strong relationships and work with people at all levels.

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or marketing is an advantage, though other degrees are also acceptable.

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2.805 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
