Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e., localization or languages) or equivalent practical experience
2 years of professional experience working with localization
Experience working with localization vendors and computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools
Experience in project management
Master’s degree in Translation and Localization Management
Knowledge and understanding of localization best-practices and common pitfalls
Experience with translation technologies and processes (e.g., translation memories, translation management systems, machine translation, etc.)
Experience managing translation vendors and processes, and driving efficiencies/ensuring a high-degree of quality
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce, and help authoring tools
Proficiency in languages other than English

The Fitbit Customer Support Documentation team is responsible for our product documentation on help.fitibit.com and authoring direct customer communications for support purposes. As an Associate Localization Project Manager, you will use your organized and effective program management skills to manage our localization needs, while also identifying and driving process improvements.

Manage the localization process for content developed by the customer support documentation team (e.g., help articles, product manuals, email templates, images, and website text)
Research and drive process improvements (i.e. automation)
Partner with localization stakeholders to anticipate and plan for new languages
Manage localization budget
Review documents and provide feedback on best practices for writing for localization
