About the Role:
This is an exciting time to join our growing, in-house agency, ID8. With more new campaigns and projects than ever, we’re in more demand than ever. Which means plenty of creative opportunities to go around.
We’re an award-winning agency of over 20 talented people across two states, CA and AZ. We do it all. From integrated consumer campaigns across all touchpoints including TV and OTT video, radio, social, and banners to emails, web design and everything in between.
We’re creative directors, art directors, writers, designers, web designers, producers, project managers and account people. But what makes us unique is that we’re also animators, illustrators, video editors and coders, so we can produce things internally when we want to.
Now, our goal is to scale even bigger, by adding an ACD/Senior Writer to partner with an ACD/Art Director as well as other ID8 creatives to come up a variety of different kinds of campaigns as well as help be a leader on our team. We’ve worked hard to set a high bar. This is an opportunity for you to help us take it even higher and have a lot of fun at the same time.
Team with an Sr. ACD/Art Director and other creatives to come up with ideas and tell stories that make our brand more meaningful to a wider audience.
Writing across all channels. From video and radio to social and web.
Great communication skills to discuss strategy, make presentations, sell work, discuss feedback, brainstorm, and turn everything into opportunities to take projects to the next level.
Ownership as well as leadership of projects. The more you can own, lead, and take projects close to the finish line the better.
Be both a team player and self-directed. On any given day you could be collaborating with clients or other ID8 team members, making production decisions or working on an important writing project on your own.
Work hand in hand with other ID8 creative leaders to make sure we’re aligned as a team.
Help guide production resources, whether external or internal.
Do “great work that works great.” Come up with interesting, attention getting, memorable ideas that have an impact.
Build our team culture of doing award winning creative, having fun and being a pleasure to work with.
Minimum 10 years of experience at an advertising agency or in-house agency.
Experience as ACD, leading and owning projects from concept through production.
A strong, eclectic portfolio with proven work across channels that demonstrates you not only understand big creative ideas, but also the craft of writing, from scripts to headlines to copy.
Demonstrated experience in similar categories a plus. In other words, financial, insurance, technology, or digital lifestyle brands.
Comfortable with production. From doing live action shoots to editing, recording and mixing.
Ability to excel in a fast past environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree required
