Our team is all about the Digital Era, established globally and quickly building locally, we’re transforming the Accounting Industry. We use Cloud Accounting such as Xero, Dext, Quickbooks and our Sleek Tech to work smartly and efficiently with our SME clients.

We are now searching for an Accounting Manager (UK ) based in South Africa to support our growing Accounting Team in the United Kingdom, remotely. Your 3+ years of experience working as an Accounting Manager for an Accounting Practice or Accounting BPO with a strong background in UK Accounting Practices will help you succeed in this role.

Your daily tasks will include:
Work with a portfolio of SME clients

Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients from a variety of industries in the UK

Provide support to clients on various accounting matters, financial performance management, financial strategy, financial analysis, key decision making, financial process optimization, performance improvement, and other performance related topic based on the direction of the Finance Manager

Mentor, groom, train and manage a team of professional accountants to deliver the monthly bookkeeping process for a portfolio of clients, including bank reconciliations, fixed assets, raising journal entries and preparing management reports in Xero

Prepare Unaudited/Group Unaudited Financial Statements for clients

Prepare VAT quarterly filings

Oversee payroll support for clients and monthly submissions

Perform other duties or tasks to be assigned by the immediate superior or account/finance manager

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must have:
Previously used your Accounting expertise to support a portfolio of UK clients

Demonstrable UK Accounting experience at an Accounting Manager level

Highly proficient in Accounting Softwares such as Xero, Quickbooks and Dext

Strong English communication skills (C1+) and relationship building skills

Worked meticulously and largely independently with your team, to produce high quality work
