Maleic modified rosin resin (119, 115, 107, 103) is designed for nitrocellulose compatibility. It is useful in formulating pale lacquers for wood finishing, lacquer sealers, polyester, hot melt adhesive and “C” type gravure printing inks that contain toluene.
